Quem deve se integrar?

Pela Lei de Integração de 2021, são obrigados a se integrar: recém-chegados de fora da UE que recebem uma permissão de residência, migrantes por reunificação familiar e refugiados. Cidadãos da UE e holandeses estão isentos.

Quanto tempo tenho para me integrar?

A partir da data da sua permissão de residência, você tem três anos para passar no exame de integração. Em circunstâncias especiais (doença ou outros eventos graves), o DUO pode conceder uma prorrogação.

A ISP me ajuda com o exame de integração?

Sim. A ISP foi desenvolvida especificamente para preparar você para o exame NT2 (Exame Estadual Programa I, nível B1). A plataforma oferece material de estudo direcionado para as quatro competências: Leitura, Escrita, Compreensão oral e Expressão oral.

E se eu não passar no exame?

Você pode refazer o exame NT2 várias vezes. Se não cumprir o prazo de integração, o DUO pode aplicar uma multa, mas há também possibilidades de isenção ou prorrogação em casos especiais. A ISP oferece módulos extras de revisão para alunos que precisam refazer alguma parte.

What is integration?

Integrating into Holland

The Integration Law of 2021 requires newcomers to integrate within three years.

According to the Integration Act of 2021, as a newcomer to the Netherlands, you have three years to integrate. Integration consists of obtaining approval in the NT2 exam at least at level B1 and the Participation Statement Path (PVT). The exam is conducted by DUO (Service for Execution of Education). Failure to meet the deadline may result in a fine.

Recently arrived from outside the EU – 18 years or older, coming from outside the European Union
Migrants for family reunification – have come to Holland for family reunification
Refugee status holders – obtained a residence visa as asylum seekers
Exemption – citizens of the EU, Dutch nationals and those who have previously integrated are exempt

The NT2 exam assesses four competencies. The ISP prepares you for all of them.

Reading Test time: 100 minutes

Questions about the integration process

Who should integrate?

According to the Integration Act of 2021, the following individuals are required to integrate: newly arrived immigrants from outside the EU who receive a residence permit, family reunification migrants, and refugees. Citizens of the EU and Dutch citizens are exempt.

How much time do I have to integrate?

Starting from the date of your residency permit, you have three years to pass the integration exam. In special circumstances (illness or other serious events), the DUO may grant an extension.

Can the ISP help me with the integration exam?

Yes. The ISP was specifically developed to prepare you for the NT2 exam (State Program I exam, level B1). The platform offers study materials focused on the four skills: Reading, Writing, Listening Comprehension and Oral Expression.

What if I don't pass the exam?

You can retake the NT2 exam multiple times. If you do not meet the integration deadline, DUO may apply a penalty, but there are also possibilities for exemptions or extensions in special cases. ISP offers additional review modules for students who need to redo some part of the exam.
